The service

Lingua Detective crawls websites and reports likely differences between declared and detected page languages. Verdicts are diagnostic aids, not guarantees of translation quality, legal compliance, accessibility, or search rankings. Review uncertain and important results manually.

Acceptable use

Scan only sites you own or are authorized to test. Do not use the service to evade access controls, attack networks, harvest personal data, infringe rights, or disrupt a target. Respect robots.txt and the target’s terms unless you have permission to do otherwise.

Free scans and exports

The 10-page scan requires no account or card and includes JSON, CSV, and PDF exports. Abuse limits, concurrency limits, and anti-bot checks may apply.

Paid crawls and subscriptions

Paid features require an account. One-off page credits are consumed by paid crawls. Subscriptions renew monthly at the displayed USD price until cancelled. You can cancel by contacting support; access continues through the paid billing period.

Availability and liability

We may change detection methods, limits, and features to improve or protect the service. The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Lingua Detective is not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, or decisions made solely from a report.
